The difference in the two behaviors would be the Record Object Relationships option. Your production system does not have the option set. If I'm remembering correctly, the "label" column is only used by the Object Relationships feature, so the column is not populated if the feature is off.
you are right. Activating "Record Object Relationships" was wone key point to get this running. The whole process was like this:
- Activate "Record Object Relationships" on all servers of the server group (we have a group of four servers)
- Stop all ARS servers
- Execute some SQL commands to properly reset/prepare relationship recording
delete from ardefnrel;
update control set relgenstate = '';
- Start just one ARS server (the one normaly running admin actions) and wait until it is completely up and you can connect to it. (took about 30 minutes for us) This ist just for the first startup after the configuration change. Later starts are much faster.
- Start the remaining ARS server
