That is a great question. I am working with a few people to see if they have heard any new buzz around other products requiring RSSO. We do see it is a great move for TrueSight and it offers great management options so combining it with other BMC products does seem like some good next steps, but at present I am not aware of any other products which are moving to RSSO. Once I hear from my internal sources, I will post another update. Thank you for the question it was a great question.
CLM does use RSSO.
BMC Discovery also offers RSSO but is not (yet) mandatory. To me this is a good solution, customers who like to go with RSSO are able to do it but not forcing customers who don't have/like RSSO to go with it.
Well... if you go up and down the stack...
CLM uses RSSO, which kind of boxes together TrueSight, Capacity Optimization, BSA, and Discovery due to service modeling requirements for extracting the most value out of CLM with Capacity Optimization.
I'd say they are moving into the RSSO direction, for sure.
