"ndf" executed on a remote host by BSA produces a different result than executing "df" locally. Does anyone know why that is the case?
have you looked at the man page for ndf ?
FREE The total amount of available disk space in KB to the root user. This differs slightly from the 'df' command which provides available space for unprivileged users.
I have never worked with BSA directly.
maybe start here: How do I get started with BladeLogic (TSSA/BSA/TSSR-SA/TSAC/TSAS)? How do I learn more about BladeLogic? How do I use it to do my job? Solve problems for my company? (Getting Started)
Can someone provide a quick synopsis of how BSA functions with regard to running remote installs?
it runs whatever commands you put into the blpackage, depot software or nexec command. not sure what you are looking for here.
