Thanks for confirming so quickly (oddly enough it is not happening now).
Sorry about that, Jason. I noticed it happens more frequently when you copy + paste something in the text section here.
Either way, let's wait for Puja to provide update and resolution.
That could be. The last one time I experienced this I pasted in a link to another thread.
Even though I forgot to add that link in my original post this was a good test of your observation. As soon as I pasted the URL into this reply the page started jumping as described. I deleted the URL and it still jumped. When I pasted it in again it stopped jumping. So maybe the work around for now is paste, delete, paste

This issue can be replicated and it is not only on bmc communities but jiveworks as well.
As per the investigation from support team, the issue is at chrome browser 61+ versions end. The support team is working with jive and google support to get it fixed.
For a work around, please use firefox or lower version of chrome for now.
Another Workaround: use HTML editor when pasting, then change back to regular editor and click "publish".
We will keep you posted of the status.
Thanks and regards,
This is so ridiculous and frustrating!!!! I finally broke down opened Edge to login to BMC Communities because the site is just not usable with Chrome. Great job making a customer bend to your ways and open a browser they don't normally use just to use this site. Really, Jive is looking more like a piece of junk all the time. I am not the only person that feels this way.
I just experienced this for the 1st time myself Friday and it was indeed very frustrating. I basically had to type my entire paragraph response blind and then scroll down to correct my 10 spelling mistakes. Each spelling mistake correction jumped me back to the top. I guess the other workaround would be to type your reply in notepad 1st and then copy/paste.

Sorry for the inconvenience on this issue. I myself has observed this and mostly using firefox when I copy paste anything.
We are following up with both jive and Chrome support team.
I will keep you posted about it.
Few users have got the below workaround,
Problem: when pasting content into in a comment in Chrome, cursor jumps back up to top of page
Workaround: use HTML editor when pasting, then change back to regular editor and click "publish".
Reference: Editor problems w/ Chrome
It worked for me as well.
Hope it helps.
Thanks and regards,
