    Bladelogic DB Password Change: PXE issue

      We recently changed our BSA database password and ran into some lockout issues trying to start the PXE server. We followed the instructions in BSA: The database password has expired. How to update BSA to reflect the new password?  but this didn't update the password in the /pxe/br/deployments/global.properties file and locked the account when we restarted.

       

      Based on another thread, Update PXE DB password without blpxeconf it appears that the instructions in the first thread may be incorrect. The 2 threads show different settings.

       

      BSA: The database password has expired. How to update BSA to reflect the new password?

      blasadmin –s _pxe set database password <new-password>

       

      Update PXE DB password without blpxeconf

      blasadmin -s _pxe set pxe password <new-password>

       

      Which one is correct?
