what do you mean by domain migration ? servers are moved from domain to domain (agent remains installed ?) ? or new servers will be provided and agents need to be installed ?
The servers are being added to a new domain and deleted from the current one.
ok so OS & agent installation will remain ?
I would rather not do another agent install to all 10 servers, be it using Distribution Manager or manually.
Any other way around it?
If member servers then consider using a local account. We use local accounts.
If a domain service account is required or if the servers are DCs, in the agent database update the entry on one server and then distribute that "rule" to rest.
Afterwards stop/start the agen and that's it.
Note, if you do decide to move to a local account, then create the account on the servers first and then update the agent database.
Besides, the agent db, I've heard that there is a file that contains the agent account info but I've not looked at that yet.
