The database diagram is the only official BMC documentation as far as I know.
If you are looking for relationships, those are stored in the item_reln table.
But they are stored using ticket and item back-end IDs. You'll need to use the FACT tool to help decipher some of those IDs. Its an endeavour but not impossible.
What are you trying to achieve.
Thanks for the quick response.
Without getting into to much detail we have an inhouse written windows app that kind of wraps the footprints web UI/db and adds some functionality outside of the FP UI/db.
I'm in the process of updating it to work with v12. We have a grid that lists the tickets (much like the My assignments list) I was wanting to put the title of the parent ticket as a column if the ticket is a child (subtask).
I will take a closer look at the item_reln table.
What is the FACT tool? Where would I get that?
The FACT tool is a "companion tool" that we (RjR Innovations) designed to assist system administrators, report writers, and integrators working with FootPrints.

Seems like I can't get to the rjrinnovations website. I tried here at work and on my cell with no luck. Would you know if it is down or moved?
Hi Kyle try again, looks like there was a DNS issue.
