You can add step to touch the loaded records and modify 'z1D Action' field with the desired value. OR map the 'z1D Action' field value to desired value on load. There are so many ways to trigger the action on loaded data!
Thank for reply.I already tried to pass 'LOAD' value to z1D Action of load form.I could see other value but not 'LOAD' value in z1D.
Have you turn on the filter logs and see what happens when you set the value "LOAD". Also try setting the "VALIDATELOAD" value too.
z1DAction is Display Only Field So you can not see this value at later Stage.
You need to enable logs and see whether its going there or not.
Also Why not you are using DMT tool to load the values. Are you trying to Schedule a Automatic Job to Load Product Catalog using Spoon?
Have you created an spoon job only to load the data?
If yes, I suggest to create an custom udm job template and use your custom spoon job in the load step (IIRC you have to add it first in the dmt console) and add the ootb validate and promote steps to your custom job template.
If I passed LOAD/VALIDATELOAD in atrium spoon then data still on load form and if I manually provide that value in Z1d Action and save then it goes to final form of product.why this happened?keyword LOAD/VALIDATELOAD works manually but not in atrium spoon.
I'm not absolutly sure but it might be that the filters do not fire on merge.
I found filters that are run on modify then I used merge option also..still no succsess
How do you manually populate the value in "Z1d Action"? I can't see this field in CTM:LoadPeople form.
I guess It might be very easy step to do and sound silly question to you.
Please help me with this, I am very new to Remedy.
did you solve this already?
I have the same issue, I want to send "VALIDATE" into "z1D Action" field on CTM:LoadPeople using Spoon 6.0.1.
I have built this transformation:
In "ARInput" I only load 2 values:
Field Name Field Id Field Type
LoadPeopleID 1 String
z1D Action 1000000076 String
In "Add constant" I define the constant as a string
with Name VALIVAL and the value of VALIDATE.
In "Set field value" I set:
Field name Replace by value from field
z1D Action VALIVAL
In "AROutput" I use 'LoadPeopleID' = $LoadPeopleID$ to identify the entry to set
Form Field Stream Field
z1D Action VALIVAL
I would expect that the entries in CTM:LoadPeople are validated, because I've
allowed workflow processing and sent the value.
Or is it really only "on merge"?
Wondering if anyone has come up with the magic solution to this. I am also looking at ctm:loadpeople, with a case, likely very much like Ruediger's. I can pass the records to the ctm:loadpeople form, and have a step added to pass (have tried VALIDATE, VALIDATELOAD). I see the filter which kicks of the main filterguide (CTM:DPP:UpdatePPL_Guide) appears to be CTM:DPP:UpdatePeople_CallGuide
The filter fires on modify, so that is why I am sending the value in a separate step. The qualification on the filter is:
(('z1D Action' = "LOAD") OR ('z1D Action' = "VALIDATELOAD")) AND ('Error_Flag' != "Yes") AND ('DL_Status' != "Promoted") AND ('z1D_TargetRequestID' != $NULL$)
Note I am also sending a short string to z1D_TargetRequestID so it is not null. Will update if I find anything, but appreciate a tip if anyone has go this working.
You need to set the filter to execute on merge as well as modify.
You could also create an own UDM job with your transformation as custom load. Then simply add the OOTB validate/promote steps. This way you don't need to fill the values in the job itself and don't need to change the filters.
Just push the data in the Load Form and add an escalation on that load form which sets the "Unvalidated" records to z1D Action = "VALIDATELOAD". I tried it and it works fine.
