Carlos Pascual Moral Oct 19, 2016 9:08 AM (in response to Roland Pocek)If you have a look at BMC TrueSight Synthetic Monitor overview - BMC TrueSight App Visibility Manager 10.5 - BMC Documentation there is an entry :
An Execution Plan provides the interface for a script and its execution. Through an Execution Plan, you specify the configuration for the script (including custom attributes), locations on which the script runs, run schedules, and blackout periods. An Execution Plan runs a single script. If the Silk Performer project contains more than one script, only the first script in the project runs.
An each TEA Agent only supports up to 120 execution plans.

3. Re: Migrate TMART projects to Truesight 10.x
Roland Pocek Oct 20, 2016 11:52 AM (in response to Carlos Pascual Moral)as far as i know the projects will be mirgrated fine, but yes, its not possible to select a specific script in truesight when scheduling a project, so only the first script will be run.
how many projects do you have with different scritps in there? is there a special reason for it? maybe split up the scripts to different projects and you will be fine

4. Re: Migrate TMART projects to Truesight 10.x
Carlos Pascual Moral Oct 20, 2016 12:01 PM (in response to Roland Pocek)That's it. The problem is we have several projects with 50-60 scripts included so the solution of splitting into 50 or 60 execution plans scares me.

5. Re: Migrate TMART projects to Truesight 10.x
Roland Pocek Oct 20, 2016 12:12 PM (in response to Carlos Pascual Moral)i can imagine
well, there are a few differences in app visibility synthetic monitoring in truesight to TMART, also less functionality (like "run now" button and more) but you have the latest silkperformer versionsas an advantage
are the 50 scripts doing similar things in a project? maybe you can consolidate them into 1 script and feed input using project attributes or csv files or so to not have change all these scripts into seperate projects

Roland Pocek Oct 21, 2016 1:25 AM (in response to Carlos Pascual Moral)or maybe you can mobe the different scripts to seperate transactions in 1 script -
7. Re: Migrate TMART projects to Truesight 10.x
Carlos Pascual Moral Oct 21, 2016 1:43 AM (in response to Roland Pocek)Thanks Roland.
I think we're gonna have to analyze all our scripts in order to simplify as much as possible.
