Can you please remove ".wsdl" string from "Web Service Endpoint URL" of CMDB Integration from System Parameters and try again?
Example is as follows:
This should work ideally. How many devices do you have in CMDB server?
Can you try by specifying scope for Device Import as 'Only New Devices from the Import Source'?
There are ariund 2k+ devices in the CMDB, as per your suggestion i am importing new devices but flashing me the same error.
Your help is highly appericated.
Seems like the issue is due to large number of devices in CMDB. You can narrow down the results from CMDB by following these steps:
1. Go to BCAN_HOME(Default: C:\BCA-Networks-Data\), open global.properties and look for cmdbNetworkCIQuery parameter.
2. Uncomment the parameter and narrow down the scope based on the device type say to
3. Restart BCA-Networks Web Server.
4. Try reimporting devices from CMDB.
If that works, you may repeat the same steps for other device types too.
Did you try the above mentioned solution?
It would be great help if someone share valuable thoughts on the issue.
Thanks & Regards,
There error seems obvious that entry was not imported since the source does not contain the host IP/hostname nor does it contain the devicetype.
Are you trying to import new devices from CMDB into BNA?
If so this will not work since by default the CMDB DB does not contain enough information to import completely new devices. The out of the box CMDB import in BNA is there for importing CI and Business service information from CMDB for devices that currently exist in the BNA DB.
So you need to import new devices into BNA from your network discovery tool (ie. ADDM) and then run the import from CMDB to sync up CI and Business services.
Thanks for the your valuable comments.
We have already added devices in BNA. We did integration with CMDB to import the CI and Business services associated with devices already in BNA. isn't this the purpose of BNA-CMDB Integration?
If there are some of the devices in CMDB that are not added in BNA prior to run Device import job for cmdb, it should add new devices from cmdb to BNA.
Correct me if i am wrong.
We have BNA-AO-Remedy integration for Continuous Compliance. Let us know your comment on anything else we need to do at CMDB and BNA end apart from steps that provided in the BNA Administration document.

What do we need to do in order to make BNA-CMDB integration successful?
Appreciate your help as always.
Thanks & Regards,
It has been a while, but I wondered if you are past the above hurdle ?
