This seems to be the problem with user mapping. Please make sure to use the user/role combination that maps to the 'root' user on the target.

when you started the nsh session, was the nsh client configured to use the nsh proxy? or did you start the nsh session via 'nsh here' ?
if neither of those were true it would have sent over the OS user name that started nsh, and that is the name that would be looked for in the rsc files.
