You need to rebuild your Search Indexes:
I also put together a batch file process that rebuilds database indexes at the same time. This can be launched by Windows Task Scheduler, so it can run over a weekend or otherwise unused time.
Thanks Keith. Do I need to backup my database before rebuilding the search indexes?
Nah. The batch file will stop the Track-It! Service Management service for a bit, so you'll want to have folks out of Track-It!. But there's no need to make a backup.
The other link to simply rebuild the Search Indexes does a restart of the service.....so it's only a momentary interruption. There's no need to get folks out of Track-It! for that.
In both cases, while the Search Indexes are being rebuilt, you can continue to use Track-It!, but understand two things:
-It will be slow while the indexes rebuild. Rebuilding the Search Indexes is an intensive task and takes a lot of CPU and memory, so the server will be sluggish for a while.
-If you do use Track-It! while the Search Indexes are rebuilding, any search you do may be hit-or-miss with results.
Thank you so much for your detail explanation. The only one concern for me is if this process will be impacting the DATAs. I may ignore this concern from your points. Yeah, I will choose night time to do it and make sure nobody is using Track-It.
