Deepti Asthana Mar 8, 2011 3:30 AM (in response to Steve Wilson)I appeared in the Remedy interview and these were the questions asked to me
Though i replied to all the questions correctly but still some thing was lacking-- I just want to see is there any other way of answering these questions
I am quite new to this field so just need expert advice-- Or else if it sounds of no use then Apologies on my side.

5. Interview Questions

1 of 1 people found this helpfulHi, Deepti -
WIth that specific of questions, they were probably looking for a candidate that had more experience than you have currently. Rather than giving you answers to specific questions (because they will change from interview to interview) I would encourage you to continue learning about the system through this forum and the documentation and, if you have access to an AR System, practice building forms and workflow.
When you go out to interview, you probably want to aim at a job that is not quite as senior-level as this job sounds from the questions. Now if they advertised it as an entry-level and then still asked all those questions, well that's a different issue...
Good luck with your job search!

6. Re: Interview Questions
Steve Wilson Mar 8, 2011 10:57 AM (in response to Anne Brock)The purpose of an interview is to see whether the candidate and the company are a good match. You are not doing yourself or the company any favors by posting questions and seeking answers. IMHO, THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR EXPERIENCE! I learned this lesson years ago when I had a CNE (Certified Novell Engineer) on-site doing some work. It was obvious that he was able to answer the questions and pass the test for his certification, but he really didn't have any experience and subsequently had no clue of what he was doing in a practical, real world situation!
Rather than post the questions seeking answers, you should be adding the questions to your goals of areas that you need to learn and understand.
Good luck!
Steve
P.S. In addition to on-the-job experience, if you are able, I would look into training through BMC Remedy Education Services!

Your question is is a bit of topic from the original post as well as this is a very old discussion. I think you will have much more success with responses if you submit a new question.
