Open the HPD:IncidentProcessControl. You probably have a few records in there.
Make sure you only have one line per parent incident.
Now on your workstation, change your ARAPITIMEOUTS variable to 120:300:20000 for example. Open DevStudio and right click on HPD:IPC:TriggerProcessControl => "Run Now". Let it run until it's done.
You will have to do this every time you have 50+ duplicate incidents, until you figure how to speed up the incident modification process (check indexes, SLM service targets...).
Can you please check in which pool this escalation "HPD:IPC:TriggerProcessControl" running.
Is there any other long running escalation running on the same pool.if that then you need to assign this escalation to a different pool.

we dont have any records in HPD:IncidentProcessControl form and it seems esclation is workng fine. But i tried what you suggested but no joy

It is running on pool 2 and it looks good as this happened with only one incident.
any other suggestion?
