    Using mposter with Special Characters?

    Jon Trotter

      Trying to do this from a command line with a file, getting errors about invalid output expression.  Is there no way to do mposter with special characters?

      DDEN_MATCH_TABLE;

        name='testing';

        tag='3_SLOTS';

        input_match=['<servername>*'];

        ref_instances_classes=['EVENT'];

        output_expressions=['http://thiswebsite.com?Done=password','value','another value'];

      END

      This will not load, get this error:

      >mposter -n prd-bppm -d -v 3_SLOT.baroc

      20150113 103713.842000 mposter: MCLI: BMC-IMC300016E: Error answer received: BMC-IMC080012E: Data addition failed: BMC-IMC032091W: Invalid candidate data 552 (mc_udid=) not added: BMC-IMC110061E: Invalid output_expressions:

      DDEN_MATCH_TABLE;

              mc_udid='';

              name=testing;

              tag=3_SLOTS;

              input_match=['<servername>*'];

              ref_instances_classes=[EVENT];

              output_expressions=['http://thiswebsite.com?Done=password',value,'another value'];

      END

      20150113 103713.843000 mposter: MPOSTER: BMC-IMC332034E: Failure to send command

      dnew + DDEN_MATCH_TABLE;

              name=testing;

              tag=3_SLOTS;

              input_match=['<servername>*'];

              ref_instances_classes=[EVENT];

              output_expressions=['http://thiswebsite.com?Done=password',value,'another value'];

      END

      Removing the spaces and all the other characters, except the period allows it to be added.  Trying this on Windows.  I am at a loss to think that you can't even mposter a hyphen (tried this and it fails) in with other text for an output expression?!  Is there something special that has to be done or is it just not possible?  If not, PLEASE enhance the product so it can.  I've tried every combo I can think of and nothing seems to work.  Escaping the characters only adds more backslashes, double quotes doesn't change anything, functions, variables, etc., nothing seems to be working.  Any help would be appreciated.
