    Stop Auto-populating Asset Field

      Track-It! 11.3

Is it possible to not auto-populate the asset field when selecting a Requestor with an associated asset? We only want to use this field when the issue is actually hardware related.

Well, in current versions of Track-It!, as long as the Requestor is associated with an Asset, then when you select that Requestor, Track-It! tries to help out by including that asset.  This allows you to see both Asset and Requestor history, and helps to identify trends.

You can always select a different asset if the user is calling about something other than their normal asset.  You can also clear the asset, if you don't want it showing up.  But currently there's not a way to stop Track-It! from showing that asset.
