I don’t consider myself an expert, however while we are waiting for an expert to comment, I believe there is something that I can add.
1. There is a document that contains details of ARERR, it is for 7.6.04 but In my opinion, ARERR are quiet generic and this doc for older version can still offer substantial help. (we can always look up to find updated versions of doc, but this should suffice)
2. As for the error you mentioned in screen shot, it would be best if you could enable Activelink + API+ Filter logs from AR System User Preference form and find the exact workflow that throws the error.
You can then fix the error by providing value and data type in acceptable range.

This is one of common error of ARS.
You are trying to Populate a field - Patter for the field is set as $MENU$-- That means value for this field should only com from the MENU drop down. If you try to set the value for this Field from any value which is not defined in Drop Down menu- U will get this error.
No which is coming in screenshot is the Field ID of that field. Enable CLient and Server Side loggin. This will give whats happening in background.
