      Hi All

      Could you please advise

On some machines the Tuner.exe (ver 8.1.1.0) fails to run (starts for a few seconds and then shuts down), puts into the stdout.txt the following:

Ok there seems to be some kind of corruption on the tuners have you tried using the fixtuner.exe?

          • 2. Re: Tuner fails to run

here are some details on how to accomplish this..

            • 3. Re: Tuner fails to run

after the tuner is stopped. try starting the tuner with -reconstruct command.

If there is any library link problems, the reconstruct command should be able to fix it.

              • 4. Re: Tuner fails to run

just tried to completely reinstall the tuner on this machine - but even after complete uninstalling (program files, registry entries, workspace) it is not starting. Throws still the same errors.

                Anyone has other thoughts?

To the History log file it throws:

Afterwards it shuts down the tuner

                  • 6. Re: Tuner fails to run

Is the Tuner installation/workspace directory has been excluded from the Antivirus scan??

                    • 7. Re: Tuner fails to run

The machine has McAfee VSE installed and policies same as other machines on the network.

Tuner installation/workspace directory arre excluded from the AV scan

                      • 8. Re: Tuner fails to run

check if the dll's "msvcirt.dll,msvcp60.dll,msvcrt.dll" are available in the "tuner\lib" & "tuner\lib\jre\bin" directories before starting the tuner...
