Unable to reset our passwords in Remedy-Integrated with SSO (ARERR 49003)"

There is a known defect for this SW00431426.

The Engineering team has discussed with Product Architect.
Unfortunately this requires a major design change and not possible to do in current version (7.6.04).

The same defect is also reproducible in version 8.0.

The customer is asking for a hot fix.

The esclation against 7.6.04 version has suggested following.

Does it possible to deliver a fix for 8.0?

      Work around:

There are two workarounds with which change password can be achieved

      1. Keep the Original password blank while resetting the password.

      2. Otherwise you need to have two instances of Mid tier (One integrated with Atrium SSO and other without SSO ) OR one Mid Tier (integrated with Atrium SSO) and one aruser tool .
Whenever you want to change the password use the client which is not integrated with Atrium SSO.
