Several customers have used repeaters with mirrors.
the key is for the repeaters that will be repeating from the mirrors must reference the mirror with the same hostname as what is set in your policies.
Your Master TX should have a universal hostname that is used in all channel URLs and policies...for example tx.example.com
The local mirror (IP Address 192.168.4.149) would replicate tx.example.com.
The local repeaters that are supposed to replicate from mirror will need to have their etc/hosts file modified to add
Then configure the repeater to repeat tx.example.com which behind the scenes the repeater should be connecting to 192.168.149
All of the plugins will function as one would expect. The mirror would insert the data (as far as I know there isn't a configuration to have it forwarded). The Repeaters will query the local AD for policies, etc.
Can Mirror be configure in SBRP to server client request as Repeater does ?
Yes, it can be done.
Here is the property to be added in Mirror Transmitter to forward inventory records to Master server
Thanks all. Finally it is working.
However I need to specify complete inventory service URL in below property to make Mirror TX to forward inventory records to Master TX.
