Can you check that the people has actually the permission to see the CI? If he only can see one company and the CI is another company he wouldn't see them.
Are they "unrestricted access"?
User has licence Type =Restricted Read, and in our enviorment, he is unable to any of the CIs.He is there till Asset Managemnet Console.
I am an admin ,and i can see all of them.If i campare my account and the user's account ,the only diffrence i see of Admistrator permission.
I cnt give the user Administratoer permission,so i tired giving Asset User/Asset Viewer/Asset Admin. howver none of them worked.
I mean, what companies can he see?
Change license type to floating/fixed and try.
Any of the Asset User/Asset View/Asset Admin permissions are enough to VIEW the CI's. You may like to check the CI's user wants to view are of the same company to which the user has access.
The system has only one comapny configured.and i tired user giving fixed licence and tried with all Admin View/Asset User/Asset Admin.
Yes i can see the CI as having Adminstrator permission.
What values have you in the following fields ?
- Row Level Security in BMC.CORE:BMC_BaseElement form for your CI
- Group List in User form for the user
CAn you provide the screen shot of people form for this user. highlight the licenses tab in people form.
also in CI check what is the company field in the custom 2 tab.
You know what - I recently had a similar thing happen to me ... it shouldn't work this way - but I had to add my users to a support group (because they are Support Staff) before they could see CI's for the Company to which they have Access. It's ok for them - but when we get to other users it's going to be a problem for me too.
I'm anxious to see how this gets resolved.

Did they have their own company in "access permissions"? I encountered a bug where you had to add the people's company in "access permissions" even if he's member of this company.
Hey Laurent - I'm was pretty sure they did ... but I just went back and tested on an existing user. They DO need a Company or Unrestricted access ... or they can't see the CI's.
BTW - I just created a new test user - non support - gave the user Asset Viewer & Asset User - And with Company access (first with read license - then floating) The test user still can't see the asset. Same scenario as NKS is experiencing.
Thanks so much for your responces. We dont use People form(or say i dont find entires in it). I have to set the account on User form and i tried with changing the licence type ..changing groups and all.It work only if i keep the licence type = Fixed and add the group = Administrator. Otherwise it doest work.I cannt give the user Admin permission. Now i am not sure which group require to add to resolve issue .
I send you the screen shot
Thanks in advance:)
This seems to be good for User.
