Hi Eric,
You can configure the event log filter at patrol and that will get added to BPPM after auto-sync.
Use the user guide to acheive this:
http://documents.bmc.com/supportu/documents/46/90/204690/204690.pdf
But you can get only numerical values, for test values(event description and all that) you need to configure it in such a way that, patrol agent sends the enets directly to BPPM's cell.
Thank you,
Mohit
Please make it correct/helpful answer, if it resolved your situation.

I found out and now I know...thx
one more thing, I think we can create new REFINE mrl rule to handle the event, e.g. append some more text to explain what this msg is in msg slot. then we don't need bii4p3.
just my 2 cents...

Karlis Peterson Mar 28, 2013 7:46 AM (in response to ERIC NameToUpdate)This might be another resource for monitoring Windows Event Logs and leveraging the Patrol Agent v9.00 Event Integration to inject events directly to a Remote cell or BPPM's Service cell. The integration has all the needed PCM rulesets and MRL at the following link:
https://communities.bmc.com/communities/docs/DOC-21254
There is documentation as well.

We have Patrol agent (9.0) installed on Unix and BPPM Server & Integration Service installed on Windows.
For Log file monitoring: How can we get an email alert with the all the full line(s) with Total number of search string matches ? (the way you have done for Windows system Event log)
Thanks
