Reinstallation of Mid-Tier 7.6.04 SP2 cannot access isapi_redirect.dll

melanies

Hi,

We had to do a reinstall of Mid-Tier 7.6.04 SP2 in an attempt to solve an issue we're having. So when while uninstalling the Mid-Tier we opted to have Tomcat uninstalled along with it. we noticed though, that Tomcat was not uninstalled - and we say this because the service was still there and could be started and stopped. Oh, we use IIS 7 as our web server and Tomcat 6 as ServletEngine. Now because there is no option to uninstall Tomcat we proceeded to install Mid-Tier 7.6.04 SP2, which completed with one SEVER entry in the installation log. This is it:

I have also attached the full installation log.

Note that we have two directories pertaining to Apache. These are:

P:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat6.0  --- where Tomcat was installed when the initial installation was done (the one that didn't want to uninstall when Mid-Tier was uninstalled)

C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Jakarta Isapi Redirector  --- this holds the location where "isapi_redirect.dll" is found, and must have been added by IIS.

We seem to be working fine with this Mid-Tier but we need to know whether this error is something to worry about as we need to do this reinstallation on Production as well. We have done the above on Dev so that the mid-Tier could be tested.

Could we ignore this?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Melanie
