Is there a easier way to delete a software CI?

We are using Asset Management 7.6.04. What I'm trying to achieve is to delete the relationship between the hardware asset and software CI which is attached to it. The 7.6.04 user guide (ref pg 219) specifies that you can open the License Certificate > Software Asset and then delete the CI attached to it. However you will be able to identify which system this CI is attached only when you click "View" > "Specification". This is cumbersome when you have about 500 assets attached to this certificate.

The other way is to search the hardware CI through the asset management console, Open the "Relationship" and then delete the relationship with the software CI from that window, but this did not result in the number of CIs deployed even after the schedule job was re-run.

      Any suggestions?
