Is that the only module you have problem with? Can you access "Atrium Core console -> explorer"?
You could try:
-> stop Tomcat,
-> empty "/webapps/arsys/cache/" folder,
-> empty "/webapps/arsys/pluginsdefcache/" folder, (perhaps not the exact folder name, will have to check at work),
-> empty "/webapps/arsys/pluginscache/" folder, (perhaps not the exact folder name, will have to check at work),
-> Start Tomcat,
-> empty your web browser's cache,
-> Try again,
In my example the mid-tier is in path "/webapps/arsys/", perhaps it's not the case for you
Yes, that module is the only one when the problem happens. I have followed your steps: stopping the web server, emptied the indicated folders and my web browser cache, trying again, but the problem goes on. The error message appears.
Can you go in your mid-tier folder and check if you have this folder?:
In fact in folder "/pluginscache/your_server_name/" you should have at least 5 folders (perhaps less if for example you didn't access Atrium Core flex console after the "delete" from my post).
In the midtier, is the server the "right" one, for example "server.domainname" instead of "server" or something like that?
In the folder PluginsCache/myServerName I only have one folder, the AtriumWidget.
In midtier the server is right, I tested with short and long name.

How many entries do you have "Data Visualization modules", I have 10.
Hi, I have eight. I think the problem comes from that side.
Do you see the module name "SRMSServiceRequestBrowser"?
I have 4 "Visualizer", "AtriumWidget", "SlmDVF", "TaskViewer", "DashboardPlugin", "RKMDecTree", "SRMSServiceRequestBrowser".
No, I do not see that module. The installation of SRM was right and I have found it in logs and there is no reference to SRMSServiceRequestBrowser
You should have this record, I guess something went wrong or something...
Can you check in srm installation folder "/srm xxxxxxxx/logs/" if you have any "_error.log" files?
I reviewed the installation folder and there is no error log. In fact the installation of SRM finished successfully.
I have tried to insert the record manually in Data Visualization modules form, creating a new record taking as reference this one in other server and restarting services but it has not worked. It all is really strange.
You need a .jar as attached file for the entry, do you have it?
But well... I guess you should contact BMC support, perhaps there is a way to see exactly what's going on.
Yes, it is rare. This missed .jar does not appear on installation logs. I have contacted BMC support.
Thanks & regards,
Please suggest were you able to resolve this issue.
we are implementing the ARS, Atrium, ITSM and SRM all 8.0 version.
after the SRM install we are getting the same issue with same error"ARERR The requested plug-in "SRSServiceRequestConsole" does not exist in the list of Data Visualization Module Server(s) in the BMC Remedy Mid Tier Configuration Tool."
