64-bit SQL Server 2008 linked server

      Hi All,

Is there any way I can use the 32-bit Remedy ODBC driver on my 64-bit SQL Server 2008 when I'm adding a linked server? I'm getting this error when trying this setup:

the specified dsn contains an architecture mismatch between the driver and application.

I'm using Windows 7 and SQL Server 2008 (both in 64-bit). I installed Remedy User on that machine, and I added the 32-bit AR System ODBC Data Source using the 32-bit ODBC dialog. But when I'm trying to add it as a linked server from SQL Server, it doesn't come up and just gives me the error above when I specify the Data Source Name.

However, this works on a 32-bit Windows 7 and 64-bit SQL Server 2008 install. I can successfully add AR System as a linked server using the 32-bit ODBC. The only difference I see here is that the 64-bit Windows 7 could not load or recognize the 32-bit AR System ODBC driver.

My question now is, are there any workarounds? Or is this setup really incompatible since it's running in 64-bit operating system?
