It is on none of the support matrices and I have seen nothing internally at BMC suggesting support has been added to any part of the latest patches.
Support it how?
Support for Provisioning, Configuration & Agent Deployment etc
Provisioning of ESXi 5.5 is not supported.
In which release/patch it will be supported?

I guess you are looking for ESXi 5.0 support, not ESXi 5.5. If so, please get in touch with your support personnel or the Product Manager Priyank_Kumar@bmc.com. ESXi 4.1 host provisioning support is already available in 8.1 SP2, check Support Matrix for details. Also note that ESXi 4.1 is a Hypervisor which doesn't have direct Agent deployment support. It is managed via AMO (Agentless Managed Object). Further details on AMO can be found in User Guide.
Any update on this thread? Looking to bare metal provision ESXi 5 via BBSA, need direction on a) is it supported and b) best practices.
Answered my own question - BSA 8.2 supports ESXi 5:
Support for new platforms
BMC Server Automation version 8.2 supports the following additional system package types for provisioning
operating systems on bare-metal machines:
- IBM AIX 7.1 (also available in version 8.1 SP2)
- VMware ESXi version 4.1 (also available in version 8.1 SP2)
- VMware ESXi version 5.0
- Certification of Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.x and 6.x using existing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 & 6 system package types
