Can Any one Guide me what I need to check, or what could be the cause of this error.

Thanks in Advance.

Am getting the same error you did/do. Ever solved it?

    Ideas much appreciated!

    Thanks

    Hi YDS/Karl,

I believe this will be related to the decimal symbol and list separator in the environment in which the AR Server is running.  If the decimal symbol is 'comma' rather than 'dot' or the list separator is 'dot' rather than 'comma', then this problem may arise.

The message occurs every hour when the SLM:ConfigReviewPeriod:Check escalation runs (default configuration is for this escalation to run at 5 past every hour).

    I hope this helps!

    Best regards,

    Michael.

Found some stuff in the arerr.log,

During installation and config of the system we set the default currency value to be EUR. See attached the two logfiles associated to this setting.

I've seen in other logs that when the filter "SLM:SLACompliance:TableLoop:TotalImpactCostSummation`!" executes.

It performes the else command and set the field "TotalImpactCost" (301539300) = ,0 USD

Which is an invalid value....and causes errors to occur.

The filter set the value in the form SLM:SLACompliance. I can see there are quite many SLM-forms that have the default value of "0.00 USD" in their Currency fields.

No SLM-form is located in the "arcurrencydefault*.log" files I've attached.

The default currency setting was made prior SLM was installed.

Do you think this thing, with wrong default values to be causing the problem?

If so, how do I proceed, do I manualy have to set the new correct default values in all currency fields with the wrong value? The correct default currency value should be "0 EUR".

Overall in the system the defaul values for the currency fields are correct (0 EUR). But in the SLM-forms it is incorrect (0.00 USD). Is the solution to update the default value for the currency fields directly in the forms, or would you recommend another way forward?

The decimal limiter on the server is "," (comma).

    Thanks in advance!

    Karl =)

    Hi Karl,

I would recommend running the AR Server in a locale that uses a full stop as the decimal symbol. Even if your clients need to see commas in their currency and real number fields, the change would only influence how these fields are handled within the server itself.  The client will still use the client-side regional settings configuration to display the fields.

    Best regards,

    Michael.

    Fernando Ruscitti

    Found the following workaround:

       Open the filter named: SLM:SLACompliance:TableLoop:PenaltyCostSummationRequestBased`!

    Replace in the only action:

    COLSUM($zCol_MeasurementImpactCost$)

    by

    REPLACE(COLSUM($zCol_MeasurementImpactCost$),",", ".")

This is where the problem seems ot begin. After this all should work Ok.

Same happened to me. Used the workaround from Fernando.

Definitively there is a bug in localized ARS. COLSUM gets the localized format, provoking an error.
