BMC Recovery Manager for Databases version 6.9.00 was the last version released that supports 9i.
I suppose if enough of our customer's have Extended Support with Oracle, then it might be worth considering sanity testing 188.8.131.52
But that would have to be reviewed and approved by the team. Seeing that we're on 7.3 now, and the demand hasn't justified the need to date, I doubt we'll certify 9i with any 7.x release. However, the SQL-BackTrack 7.x releases may still work with 9i. Yet in doing so, the customer assumes all risk as it's never been tested or supported in 7.x. Where it simply requires manually copying oracle version 9 libs or creating symbolic links to them as a workaround (but I don't know! this workaround may be invalid too, yet it's worked while the sun set on Oracle 7.3.4 and 8i). So if it doesn't work out of the box, you can try that. Else, I'd suggest staying on version 6.9.00 with Oracle 9i and enjoying the ROI as long as you can, until upgrading Oracle is feasible.
