ARSystem current version supports these OS types only.
You mean it does not support 64 bit OS ?
You can install the user too in Windows 7 but when you try to open the user tool under windows 7 it will throw an unexpected error and terminate.
So its better to use the mid tier in the Windows 7 OS.

You can install and use as you would on a 64bit Window 7 OS - I have been using this fine for months.
There are a couple of ways to get this working due to the UAC settings for this OS so you may have to play with these to install. You can also use the compatibilty functions to get this working.
The only issue seems to be surrounding the ODBC driver where it requires there are 2 different versions, so configuring the DS using the correct one works with Crystal:
"did a little investigation and found that there are 2 different versions of odbcad32.exe. I used the OTHER version, and that seemed to play OK with the ARS drivers."
I am using the Remedy User Windows Client Version 7.5.00 Patch 003A on Windows 7 x64 and it installed and works without any issues.

Can you please guide me further on this ? What do I need to do on Windows 7 PC to get this working apart from trying Compatibility option. Also, can you point me to location where I can get that OTHER version of "odbcad32.exe" which works with ARS Drivers ?
Meaning you right click the insaller, click properties, select compatibility and select something like Windows XP and then install
as mentioned, you can install with compatibility mode. You can also turn off the UAC control, install, then re-enable the UAC. You can run the install as an Administrator.
These questions on installation options can be answered by doing a google search on Windows 7.
As for when you want to setup the ODBC driver details, Windows 7 by default will start the 64Bit version of the Administration Console for Data Sources. You need to locate the odbcad32.exe in the correct folder and run this version of the Administration Console to see the 32Bit Drivers and Sources (there are 2 locations for this file).
The other supported and recommended option would be to utilize the web client when running on a 64-bit desktop OS. That would eliminate the issues you have about installing any code at all on the desktop since the web client requires no local code to run (i.e. it runs completely within the browser).

Regarding technical operation, installing Remedy User Windows client can be achieved on Win7-64 bits, see what Osvaldo did.

I have used various versions of the WUT on Windows 7 since the Beta. I currently use WUT 7.5 Patch 003 on Windows 7 Enterprise x64. You need to go to \ARSuiteKitClientWindows\Disk1\InstData\VM after you unzip the files and find setup.exe. Right-click and choose Properties. Click the Compatibility tab and run the file in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2. After installing the software using the command.bat file go into C:\Program Files (x86)\BMC Software\ARSystem\user and do the same thing for aruser.exe. If it gives you any issues: right-click and select "Run as administrator".
I have no major issues with the user tool, alerts, dev studio, or import. I have ocassional RPC timeouts when saving with the user tool, but I was dealing with this on 32-bit XP as well.
With more and more 64-bit systems with Multi-core processers showing up on the market, when can we expect a 64-bit, multi-threading capable version of AR System?
Could you please let me know how u managed to install Remedy in win 7.

I was able to install Remedy User 7.5.00 on Windows 7 by adjusting the Compatibilty mode. I am running 32-bit though but maybe this will work with 64-bit as well.
You will need to right click on the setup.exe located in \ARSuiteKitclient\ARSuiteKitClientWindows\Disk1\InstData\VM and change it to Windows XP SP3. This solved the error of no disk space error preventing me from installing it.
