Smart IT Knowledge Console - Add a separate search option to search filtered articles

  • I would like to see a Search Filtered Results option added to the Knowledge Console in Smart IT to allow for more advanced searches, therefore producing more specific results.
  • Smart IT does not have the advanced search options for the Knowledgebase like ITSM does so it is impossible to narrow down your search results based on visibility group settings when using the Global search available in the ribbon.
  • Even though the Knowledge Console allows filtering on many fields, you have to scroll through all the results, which is not optimal.
  • Adding a Search to the Knowledge Console view to allow a search of the filtered results would resolve this deficiency.
  • The example below is just a suggestion of placement of this field in the Knowledge Console.
