In Track-It! 11.x, there was the ability to hold Shift (or Ctrl) & F2 on a field and type a default entry for a ticket.
Currently, this feature isn't available in 20xx and I would like to propose one of the two solutions is implemented in order to provide this in 20xx:
1) Within the form designer. Add within properties on a field an entry for default, so a value can be entered.
2) Utilise templates and implement the ability to enable a default template for a module. This would be a choice, as not every client would want a default form.
The current workaround appears to either have a business rule achieve this, but this depends on the record being saved. Or selecting a template, though this is reliant on user interaction.
