As we on-board more teams and bring teams from outside of IT in to using Remedyforce, increasingly the status values that exist are not so relevant. Whilst you can try and keep them as generic as possible to cater for all, there are some status values that do not apply across departments.
With 3rd Party is a good example, its generic - but Finance may want to be more specific and have some extra values that mean nothing to those in IT.
Additionally expanding the list and adding more option leads to potential for people to chose irrelevant options.
My workaround is to create a new status field, by department, use this and then set the corresponding status in the main field on save/update.
