Currently, all retrieved emails are deleted on the email server regardless of the pop/imap protocol used. This behavior is confirmed by BMC and currently the design, although it does not match the default imap behavior.
We need the emails on the email server for revision checks. The retrieved and converted emails no longer correspond to the original ones. This is a big legal problem for us.
I think it's a pity that BMC often tends to hardcode things and you have to try to gain enough points over an idea to get a worldwide standard behavior implemented For me this would be self-evident and a parameter "delete e-mails on/off" doesn't seem insoluble to me.
Anyway, here's the idea to vote. Hope I‘m not alone
