Smart Reporting Functionality

Analytics currently has a lot more functionality than Smart Reporting. If my organization had the option to connect directly to the database instead of connecting to AR  we could take advantage of T-SQL functionality and Smart Reporting would meet all of our requirements. Otherwise, please add the missing functionality:

 

Analytics functions:

Last()

returns the last value in a dimension or measure

First()

returns the first value in a dimension or measure

Percentage()

Return percentage for Row or Column

IsDate()

determines whether a value is a date

IsNumber()

determines whether a value is a number

IsString()

determines whether a value is a string

IsDate()

determines whether a value is a date

LastDayOfWeek()

returns the date of the last day in a week

Left()

Reurns the first characters in a string

LineNumber()

Returns the line number in a block

Previous()

Returns the previous value of an object

RelativeDate()

returns a date relative to another date

RelativeValue()

returns previous or subsequent values of a dimension or measure

Right()

returns the last characters of a string

ToDate()

Returns a date from a date as string according to date format

Truncate()

Truncates a number

STUFF()

FOR XML PATH

DATEADD() (All options)

PATINDEX()

DATEDIFF() (All options e.g. hours,years, quarters, week, etc.)

UNIONS (without having to create custom fields for missing values for fields such as status, priority, impact etc.)

MINUS

INTERSECT

SUB-QUERIES

VIRTUAL TABLES
