An organization will leverage the power of the automation that SAAM brings to maintain their application models.

SAAM has intelligence to understand when to automatically add and remove nodes from the model.

However, there will be situation where SAAM needs support from a human to understand if a component should be excluded from the model.

The daily-run process to maintain models usually starts with the “review suggested” status of the model.

If a model is flagged as “review suggested” the model gets reviewed by a human that will decide if the models needs additional configuration or if the SAAM suggested changes are ok as-is.

This is followed by a save and publish of a model.

The idea:

It would be great if we had an option to configure the sensitivity of when “review suggested" is flagged.

SAAM Sensitivity:

  • Low (SAAM is trusted to change the model content seamlessly with limited human interaction)
  • Medium (SAAM is trusted to change the model content seamlessly with some human interaction when the content in the model changes)
  • High (SAAM is trusted to change the model content seamlessly with high human interaction when the content in the model changes)

Please note that the models should still benefit from the automation that SAAM brings, the idea is only with regards to when “review suggested” is flagged.

Thanks,

Mikael
