Currently there is a size limitation of 25MB & a maximum of 3 attachments on IM, WO forms. We customized a rule where multiple attachments coming in via email (including email signature images) get zipped/compressed & become one attachment. However, if that attachment is above 25MB the file gets auto deleted without end-user's knowledge.
This can sometimes lead to important attachments being missed out.
The proposed ideas are:
IDEA 1 - Auto split the attachment into 2 or a maximum of 3 zip files. OR
IDEA 2 - Notify the end user that the attachment exceeded the prescribed limit and got removed from the REQ and request the user to split the files in multiple zip files to upload them separately.
