When you create a defect with BMC for Smart IT, you get a DRIT-##### defect number. Currently, there is no way to see the status of your defect for Smart IT. If you submit a defect for Remedy, then you get an SW######## defect number and are able to search for these on the BMC Support website.
We should have the same visibility to the defects for Smart IT that we do with Remedy.
Here is what BMC Support told me:
As discussed, these are Jira defects which are not accessible to customers or anyone outside BMC.
But BMC Support is here to help you out whenever you need to know the status of this defect.
I would rather not waste my time and their time by submitting a support ticket to find out the status of a defect for Smart IT.
