System Settings --> Application Settings --> Menus
The menu system allows the user to configure a menu with up to 6 tiers, however the menu console only has a column for the tier 1.
There are OOTB menus that have many values on Tier 2 (such as 'Status Reason'). These are very difficult to administer because the displayed values simply show "Pending".
Customers are able to use the UI to configure their own menus with up to 4 tiers. However, they can only see the first tier and they can only open one record at a time in order to view tiers 2, 3 and 4.
HR Administrators will struggle to configure OOTB menus and their own menus that use up to 4 tiers when they cannot view the values that have already been configured.
Request for Enhancement
Add three columns to the table to display the values for tiers 2, 3 and 4).
Least complicated solution, but some columns will contain no values.
Add hidden columns 2, 3 and 4. Add workflow to make these columns visible based on the ‘Number of Tiers’.
More elegant solution, but still not complicated.
