Configuration Item / Asset Lookup field on selfservice doesn't work based on Account linked to the CI.

In CMDB we can link client,accounts etc to the CI's (Below is the scenario):

 

1) If Client is linked to CI then the client logged in from self-service can see the particular CI's listed in Configuration Item / Asset lookup field, which are linked to that client.

2) But same doesn't work for the account, if client is not linked to CI's but the account to which client belongs is linked to CI's, then that CI's can't be seen in the lookup field Configuration Item / Asset in self-service.

 

In short logged in client should be able to see filtered CI's in Configuration Item / Asset lookup field based on the account of logged in client in self-service.

 

It would be great if logged in client can view the CI's listed in Configuration Item / Asset Lookup field, which are linked to the account which client belongs to.
