it would be great if BSA would be able to check for sufficient free disk space for staging AND installing the patch files on the target server during the Simulate Phase.
Actually it just checks the free disk space for staging the files and if this check gets satisfied it proceeds with the Staging and Commit Phase.
So it can happen that the free disk space was determined as sufficient during the Simulate Phase but becomes insufficient during the Commit Phase due to the disk space the patch files are allocating during the installation of the patches.
This can even lead to the situation that the hard disk gets completely filled up to no available disk space and the server becomes inoperable.
Very bad in a productive environment.
Would be glad to see this feature in one of the next releases.
