In Smart IT Allow Incident Owner or member of Incident Owner Group permission to Edit Incident

In legacy ITSM Incident form if a user is a member of the Incident Owner support group or is the Incident Owner(Date/System tab) they may edit the incident even if they are not in the assigned group, but in Smart IT the same situation is not true and the Owner or member of the Owner Group can't edit the incident unless they are in the assigned group. I spoke to a BMC Support member who told me it is on the road map to make Smart IT allow this to match Legacy ITSM Inicdent, but there is no set date for it to be released. Voting this idea up will potentially speed that up.
