In Smart-IT 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4, when viewing or creating an incident, one can choose an "affected asset". You can start typing an asset name and it will show matching suggestions.
Here's how it currently often looks like for us:
As you can see, it looks like the same asset is shown twice.
We know why this happens: It's because we have the same asset in two (or more) different classes.
This happens because of the way our assets are populated.
On the other hand, when viewing affected CIs in a change, it looks like this:
As you can see, our asset still shows up twice, but it's easy to distinguish it there.
So our question is: Would it be possible to make the asset-auto-complete-function on an incident show the
product-name (for example) in addition to the name? That way the two entries would be distinguishable.
And I don't think it would bother those users who don't care about that feature.
