I currently use the custom fields to track if another user puts in a Track-it on behalf of a Manager or Director.
1. Report Method - Phone call, e-mail, direct contact, walk-in
2.Work order type - Incident Request Problem
3. Affected End User - Who the problem relates to..if not the original requestor
4. Asset- The affected end user asset
This request is to have the ability to change the current custom fields to lookup fields or linked fields just like the Requestor and Asset fields. So when I choose the affected end user the asset automatically is set to that affected end user. This ability would be great to have since work orders are sometimes generated by requestor who are not the affected end user.
