Generic Job Description:

*Needs Active Top Secret Clearance

Daily activities may include, but are not limited to:
(a) Deploy and optimize Remedy 7.x software to include optimizing ITSM modules and CM database (CMDB) in order to identify, control, and verify CIs.
(b)Establish, maintain, and track a baseline configuration for existing applications, systems, software, and hardware related to the architecture
(c)Track maintenance agreements, licenses and contract renewals for all the rockvienclaves (both internal and external).
(d)Facilitate renewals with vendors for software and hardware maintenance agreements, licenses, and contracts
(e)Track new releases and updates from vendors
(f)Compile relevant statistics for tracking changes, and report the information in the monthly status report
(g)Report weekly on hardware and software maintenance and license status
(h)Assess change packages for all software applications, hardware, networks, and documentation for potential impact to the performance, integrity, and security of the IT infrastructure
(I) Conducts quality control and auditing of databases in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
(j) Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, file design and storage, and integration of systems through database design.

Required/Desired Qualifications:
(a)Security+
(b)Require specific experience in providing federal government IT services, applications/portal management, and IT operations support.
(c) Prefer experience supporting networks and systems under performance management control through Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) in a Federal IT services environment.
(d)Prefer IT Service Management Practitioner: Release & Control (IPRC) or ITIL® V3 Intermediate: Release, Control & Validation, or ITIL Service Manager/Expert.
(e) Require hand-on expertise with deploying, configuring and optimizing Remedy 7.x ITSM modules.
(f) Prefer understanding of quality control and auditing of databases in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
(g) Prefer advanced database administration, and/or system administration certifications.
(h) Require experience in activities related to the administration of computerized databases, collecting and tracking requirements for database administration and design, designing, creating, and maintaining databases in a client/server environment.
