    QUESTION:

    How to activate Vision64Database.log file?

    ANSWER:

    - Go to the installation directory of your master
    - Edit the file ../master/config/Vision64Database.ini if it's a windows master, ../master/etc/Vision64database.ini if it's linux.
    - find the section [Debug] of the file
    - Then set parameters as following:
    Then you have two options depending on what you are willing to trace:

      A- Log all queries ran by the master on the database:
    Set these values in the file:
    SqlDebugLog=true
    MaxQueryExecutionTime=   0

      B- Log any query than runs for longer than x seconds:

    Set these values in the file:

      SqlDebugLog=true
    MaxQueryExecutionTime=   60

      We usually set this to 60 but it could be a different value.

    - Save the file
    - Restart the BCM service

    If it's set as A- a log ..\master\log\Vision64database.log will immediately be created.and fill up very quickly.
    If it's B- no log ..\master\log\Vision64database.log will be generated until at least one query lasts longer than "x" s.

    NOTE:
    Vision64database.logs will be generated at a high rate if it's set as A- so:
      - you might want to set "SqlDebugLog" to false then immediately restart the service when you'll be done with the test

      - you might need to set more and bigger logs, as an example:

      MaxFileSize=20000000
    MaxFileCount=50
