    QUESTION:

How to fix the problem linked to messages such as:
CTD915E COMPRESSED DATASET ACCESS METHOD SUBSYSTEM name IS NOT ACTIVE
    or under CONTROL-D/WebAccess interface:
CTDGBYE CDAM SUBSYSTEM IS NOT ACTIVE. Code error :8

    ANSWER:

CTD915E and CTDGBYE error message means that the CDAM interface has not been initialized.

This occurs generally after a new installation, installation of a new version or an IPL.

The Subsystem is dynamically installed by running procedure IOASINIT
    S IOASINIT,OPTIONS=D

      Check list:
    - Is command "S IOASINIT,OPTIONS=D" launched at IPL time?
    - Was IOASINIT started?
    - Did it run successfully? Check sysout!
    - Are the loadlibs mentioned in procedure APF authorized?
