Please follow the steps below to add ARSystem startup script in /etc/init.d, so it will automatically start ARSystem on each reboot.
Note : This procedure is for Red Hat/Fedora Core Linux and ARServer running as root user.

    1) Copy the file <AR_Install_Dir>/bin/arsystem to /etc/init.d/

    2) Add two lines as shown below to /etc/init.d/arsystem
    # chkconfig: 345 88 33
    # description: ARSystem Service

So /etc/init.d/arsystem should look like below:
    #! /bin/sh
    #
    # chkconfig: 345 88 33
    # description: ARSystem Service
    #
    #

    3) Add the script to services by using the command below as root user:
    <root># chkconfig -–add arsystem

    4) Verify arsystem is showing in services list:
<root># chkconfig --list | grep arsystem

    5) Try to start the arservice from the shell
    <root># Service arsystem stop
    <root># Service arsystem start

    6) Verify the arserverd process is up and running.
    <root># ps -ef|grep ars

    7) If the above works then reboot the server and test if the services are starting automatically as expected.
