    QUESTION:

    When message DZ0620W is issued for a runaway CICS transaction - does the indicated CPU% apply to just one physical CPU or multiple CP's if more than one is present?

    ANSWER:

    The CPU% in message DZ0620W is the CPU consumption of the CICS transaction as a percentage of the total capacity of all CP's (central processors) allocated to the LPAR at that point in time.

    Example:

       DZ0620W DB2T RUNAWAY CICS TRANSACTION USER CICSUSER CPU%=62
       J=CICST01 TRAN=T012 TASK=N/A TOKEN=86980 PACKAGE=DSN8TST
