BMC Decision Support for Server Automation 8.9.00
BDSSA 8.9 Post Configuration fails when the BSA version is already 8.9.01/8.9.02 or 8.9.03 with below error message-
Use case 1 :
When Post Configuration fails with error "BDS-3001 Unsupported BMC Server Automation database version!"
Use Case 2 :
When Post Configuration fails with error BDS-3030 Provided Warehouse database schema is invalid. Please Provide a valid latest copy of the warehouse to proceed
Step1: Check BDSSA db by running below SQL on bsara_dw DB
SQL> select value from system_property where name='DatabaseVersion';
8.9.01 (If HF1 has already been applied)
Step2: Check BSA db version by running below SQL on bladelogic db.:
select value from system_property where name='DatabaseVersion';
Step3: Check file <BDS_HOME>/shared/version.properties file on BDSSA installed host.
If the "version.maint" value is 00, change it to 01 if BSA version is 8.9.01, 02 in case of 8.9.02 or 03 if 8.9.03 and save the file.
Then rerun the BDSSA Post Upgrade installer.
Upon the completion of the configuration, apply the latest enablement hotfix if available on top of BDSSA 8.9.00
